Jenn and I hiked Spruce Mountain Fire Tower for sunset! This peak is only about ~45 minutes from Troy which is nice. The hike up is pretty moderate and we only saw a couple people on their way out but had the summit to ourselves!

The tower is pretty tall.

The summit is forested and also has a fire road that goes to it. The only views are from the tower.

This was a fun way to get outside during the week and after we watched the Perseids meteor shower from a pulloff near Sacandaga Lake.
