Vegan Burgers

Easy recipes are good recipes for me. We like Beyond Meat burgers, especially on the grill. Maybe it’s dumb to write down a simple burger recipe, but hey, maybe this will be useful in the future when we can’t decide how to cook. The nice thing about burgers is that as long as you have patties and buns you can put whatever else you have in the fridge on it.

Ingredients

  • Beyond Meat patties
  • Hamburger buns (+1 for potato or whole wheat)
  • Vegan Cheese (+1 for Follow Your Heart Mozzarella)
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Avocado (because we lived California)
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard (+1 for Walmart-brand Stone Ground Mustard)
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Wasabi

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat up the grill or a non-stick pan (no oil needed).
  2. Cook patties on one side for 3-4 min. Prep the veggies while you wait.
  3. Flip patties, add a slice of cheese, put the buns on to toast.
  4. 3-4 min later, remove from the heat, add toppings, plate, and serve.
