Updated 2020 Outdoor Goals
With the COVID-19 pandemic and the resurgence of my tendinitis, I unfortunately have to adjust my goals for 2020.
With the COVID-19 pandemic and the resurgence of my tendinitis, I unfortunately have to adjust my goals for 2020.
I have bolded the goals I have already completed and crossed out the goals I no longer think are feasible.
Winter–
• Go cross country skiing
• Go ice climbing
• Go to Yosemite
Spring–
• Run 80 miles over the course of a month I have tendinitis.
• Redpoint Jibs n Jugs at Thacher Thacher is closed and I moved home to Long Island.
• Trail run a half marathon
• Heal my foot
• Slowly build back into running
• Bike 40 miles in the course of a month
Summer–
• Go to Rainer National Park I don't think the lockdown will end and I'll be able to spend the summer in Seattle.
• Go to Acadia National Park
• Climb a multipitch route
• Finish my high peaks
• Lose weight
Fall–
• Finish my high peaks I've heard that we may need a months of this first social distancing period, some areas may be able to lessen restrictions a bit after, and then another social distancing period in the fall may be necessary.
• Canoe trip to St. Regis
• Check out Boreas Ponds
• Run a marathon
• Run a trail half marathon
• GRADUATE
